I think it just weirds people out that I very suddenly am in the Queen fandom, even, without any prompting. Usually you read a book or see a movie and end up in a fandom. Not, like, spontaneously on a Tuesday join one that's been around your whole life. I have no explanation, either, except to wonder what took me so long. I had them crystallized into my head as the band I knew them as in elementary school, and everyone really should challenge their elementary school conceptions of just about everything.
